Toni and I have now had the pleasure on two occasions to experience the professional selling skills of both Paul and Ashleigh from Purple Bricks. They not only got us a very high price for our properties but were a pleasure to deal with during contract negotiations. Their smiling, considerate and professional demeanour made it a rewarding experience. We recommend them very highly to anyone wanting to sell or buy property in the future.
We have now used Purple Bricks twice in 2 different areas and found both teams to be great to work with. Paul and Ashleigh sold our house in 17 days and help negotiate with the buyer to be able to meet all the hurdles for the sale to go through. Paul and Ashleigh were great to deal with and I found them available at any time to answer questions and provide advice. As a purchaser, Ashleigh represented the vendor firmly and negotiated what was finally an agreed price between us and the vendor presenting both sides fairly. I would recommend these guys any time.
I am very disappointed with the conduct of Purple Bricks staffs (Paul COLE). I believe that the Salesman (Paul COLE) acted in his own interests and provided limited assistance to the Seller. At times, Paul was acting on behalf of the Buyer. Paul’s actions were notable and made very clear on numerous occasions. I found the Salesman’s (Paul) exploits during the contract process, to be unethical and inappropriate... I have attempted to discuss further with the Qld CEO (Craig YARROW) but he failed to respond to my complaint made several months previous. As a result, I lodged my complaint with the Office of Fair Trading (OFT). As a result of the OFT becoming involved, I was contacted by Craig. On the 02/10/2018 Craig advised that he had completed his investigation into the conduct of Paul COLE, but due to the involvement of the OFT, he would now be providing the results of the investigation to that office. (note: OFT involved due to Craig’s initial inaction) It was not my intension to involve the OFT (complaint made to OFT due to no response from Purple Bricks), and I have since informed Craig likewise. I have emailed Craig YARROW (Qld CEO) to obtain the results of the investigation and possibly withdraw the services of the OFT. But as of the 21/10/2018, I have not received a reply.
Paul and Ashleigh were great with the sale of my property. This was the first time I have sold a property, they were always available and had great advice.
After looking at a number of properties in the area we put in an offer with Ashleigh. After negotiation through purple bricks a price was agreed. We were then referred to Lawlab for conveyancing. All was done remotely and expertly with a successful outcome
Confident house buying thanks to Paul Cole. This was my first time buying a house but Paul made the whole process easy and transparent for my husband and I. Paul was efficient with getting back to us and stepping us through the house buying process. He was honest and straight up with what the seller was wanting for the house. There wasn't any hidden agendas or hidden costs. My husband and I now have our dream home thanks to Paul.
Paul and Ashleigh did an outstanding job! As a buyer, you don't necessarily expect an agent to work 'for' you, but they really did help me and the seller achieve a successful transaction in an entirely reasonable manner. Other agents would possibly have pursued a hard line in negotiations, which would have lost me from this sale. Paul and Ashleigh showed high level knowledge, transparency, excellent negotiation skills, and added a genuine human element to the transaction which significantly helped both parties. I definitely recommend using them!
