After interviewing 5 other agents I chose Paul Spanoudakis from Raine and Horne, Maroubra, to sell my property. He impressed me with his professional yet personable manner and approach, and dare I say it, he even seemed honest! From the day I signed Paul up until the auction, he keep me very well informed of the progress, interest and price guide from potential purchasers and lookers alike, as well as how my property compared to others in the area. Phone calls and emails from me were answered promptly and always on the same day, even if I had to contact him after hours. Prior to the auction I met with Paul to set a realistic reserve, based on his knowledge of potential purchasers. The crowd at the auction was quite tough to begin with, although he managed to lighten the mood and get a few laughs when he commented, "As you know, this is a very quiet street, you can even hear a pin drop!" Paul had explained to me a variety of strategies he could use to direct the auction depending on how things were progressing at the time.
