We started viewing through multiple agents, as time wasn't on our side and although the agents we were dealing with were ok, Penny provided a complete service, which for buyers not being local like ourselves was essential. We were given a walk through of each of the properties that we requested to view online and as with the other properties they didn't quite fit the bill. We were only up for two days, however even being on tight timeline Penny called and said she had a property that she felt would be perfect, even though she had spent just a little over an hour with us. It was PERFECT, we LOVED it, now that is the epitome of a fantastic agent! In the short time that Penny had spent with us, she had found us the perfect house in one day, that we hadn't managed to find ourselves in three months. Even in the lead up to settlement Penny gave us lots of local advice and help, which helped make our transition even easier. The rest as they say is history and I am writing this review sat back in the house that only a few months ago we saw for the first time and if possible we love it now even more. I will also say that the welcome gift we found on arrival to our new home was such an amazing touch but I won't spoil it, I guess you'll just have to find our for yourselves. Penny recently helped my husband and I sell our house in Youngs Drive, Doonan and her attention to detail was excellent. The fact that we are living in Hong Kong so everything had to be done from a distance did not faze her at all. I had just 4 days to prepare the house for sale before returning to Hong Kong. Penny was incredibly helpful in every way and nothing was too much trouble, even to the extent of loaning me her own tools, namely the Karcher to pressure hose the drive. Equally, when workmen came to do minor repairs she opened the house for them at times convenient to them not necessarily to her! The house took a while to sell (6 months) but this was absolutely no reflection on her efforts but rather the depressed market for our type of house. Penny had the house opened at weekends, evenings and also for private viewings. After the sale her attention to detail continued right up to handover day, when she agreed to open the drive gates and garage doors before 7a.m. on a Saturday morning so that the Origin contractor could access the electricity meter. This, I felt, was really above the call of duty but Origin cannot give you a time, and simply say that the contractor will come between the hours of 7am to 7pm!
