Pera and his team have a fresh new take on real estate. They are young, fun and easy going. Having sold a property before with another agent, I guess we had somewhat of an expectation. In this hot market, our near-new house would have sold itself. The team were missing the little details and extra effort that would have taken it to a fantastic experience. There was perhaps a drop of the ball with the marketing side (length of time to market the house - listed online only 3 days prior to the open home, incorrect floor plans uploaded 2 days prior, the location maps uploaded only one day prior and measurements for the floor plans of the house were collected about 3 days prior), we would have waited another week to open home if it would have given the team more time to prepare (and therefore bring more people through the door). Rubbish was left behind on the grass from the SOLD sticker. The agents weren't around when their own contractors (photographers) were in our house. No call from the agent or team upon settlement, and overall we kind of had a feeling that he was prioritising the buyers needs/requests than us; the people who had hired him. We even had to push the team for a higher amount from the buyer knowing we could get more, when really it's the agents job to get the vendors the highest possible price. This was even after we were assured this was probably the highest offer and we were encouraged to accept it. We weren't given confidence in their ability to secure the top offer. We're talking another $30k difference because of our own intuition. All minor details in the big picture, and I understand it may not be Pera alone responsible, but Pera represents his team and you kind of have high expectations when handing over almost $20k for a service. We don't want to take away from what a nice guy Pera is, and wish him only the very best of success and hope that maybe this might just steer him in the right direction to a great career in Real Estate.
