Peter spent his early years in the Gippsland area, his family moved to the Goulburn Valley when he was 12 years old purchasing farms in Katandra & Invergordon. He attended Notre Dame College and then Shepparton High School and whilst playing football for the Shepparton Football Club he was offered a role as a Salesman at Daryl Twitt Motors as a cheeky 19 year old cadet. It was through this opportunity that Pete found his love for dealing with people of all walks of life.
Having a career change, Pete took the leap into Real Estate in 2013. In 2014 Cardamone Real Estate was born and years later, Cardamone Real Estate is now the leading agency across the Goulburn Valley area, the hard work is paying off for Peter Cardamone.
With over 30 years of sales experience Pete’s a passionate man who loves his Italian heritage.
Football has been a big part of Pete’s life both on and off the field. Having played over 170 games of country footy with the Shepparton Football Club then later with Congupna & Cobram. Pete booted over 200 goals between 1990 and 2002, he tried his hand at coaching before hanging up his boots and moving into the commentary box in 2003.
Starting out locally with Community Radio Station One FM in Shepparton post his playing & coaching days, Peter joined (NIRS Football) National Indigenous Radio Service in 2003 and within a few years he joined 6PR (Perth Radio).
A highly respected AFL Broadcaster, Pete joined Triple M footy in 2021, calling AFL football into Melbourne, a great achievement.
