I was recommended to Peter to sell my family home in Adelaide. Right from the first initial phone conversation, Peter was extremely friendly yet professional, always made sure I was kept up to date with everything as it all unfolded. As this was a very emotional and painful process for me, Peter and his team Jordan, Dylan & Megan were always there and took time to explain each step with me. Peter came to me in Adelaide for all contract signings and any conversations he needed to have with me. I never felt pushed or pressured into anything, and was always made me feel I was the most important person. On auction Day Jordan & Dylan were here on time & as they remained extremely professional they also showed support & compassion in preparing me for how the auction was to take place. Peter and his colleagues have also gone above & beyond their job rolls, and assisted me in the purchase of my new home. All aspects of the preparation, legal, and sale itself was handled with the upmost professionalism & compassion. I would highly recommend and already have recommended Peter and his team at Harcourts Barossa Valley to several people already. As difficult this journey has been I’m ever eternally grateful to all involved for holding my hand and guiding me through this as quickly, efficiently, as painless as possible with the upmost respect, professionalism and compassion. This review is for Jordan from Harcourts, but the email for "rate my agent" is only allowing me to review Peter. Initially, agent was good and everything worked out well, made time for us to see the house and made things work around us, including getting a cleaner and a sold sticker out of hours. But once everything else was settled and we went to move in, we found that the aircon and the dishwasher do not work and this was not disclosed to us, these were big selling points of this house and we had to pay a few thousand extra to get these fixed, on top of the high premium we paid on top of the asking price for this house. Was quite disappointed to realize these do not work, with no time to investigate if they work as any delay in decision making would result in the house being sold from under us. I just wish we had more information about these items as they were definitely selling points, and they ended up being extra expenses. More consideration for the young couple buyers that are having to pay a premium was expected.
