We recently instructed Peter and Sally of Shields Gillman Real Estate to sell my sister’s home. We selected Peter and Sally because they were local, and we felt comfortable with them. They have a genuine caring approach, and assured us that they would take the stress and worry from the transaction, and I’m pleased to say that they did just as they said they would. Not knowing much about how to sell property we were guided by Peter and Sally and accepted their advice. We had no other option but to trust them and they never disappointed us. We were happy to receive numerous offers throughout the sales campaign, each one more than we had expected to get for the house. Although we were willing to accept these offers and sell the property, we listened to Peter and accepted his recommendation to proceed to the auction. I’m so glad that we did as they got an extra $236,000.00 for us on auction day, that was above the highest offer that had been made only a few days before. Peter and Sally communicated with me and my other family members almost daily. They went over and above what we would have thought real estate agents would do. They offered us local contacts for cleaning, rubbish removal and gardening and once the auction was over they have continued to visit the property and take care of it right up until the new owners move in. They never stopped working to get the highest price even though they knew we were happy with the first offer that someone had made.
