Circumstances forced me to sell my home so the whole situation for me is very stressful. Peter was very sympathetic and understood what I was going through Happily my home sold in around 10 days for 10 thousand more than my asking price.

We first met Peter while having coffee outside our favourite coffee shop. It was just a casual "Hello, how are you?" about 18 months ago. At that stage we hadn't considered selling our property. We asked Peter what he expected our house to sell for, told him what we'd like based on other sales around our area and got back, "I can get you $20,000 more than that". Yes! The usual agent's talk. Twelve months later, we started to see a downturn in the market with prices dropping in our area and decided to put our house on the market before it dropped much further. It was outside of Peter's usual area and we were concerned that he wouldn't be up to speed as a local agent would be, but he seemed confident and obviously it was up to us to accept what we thought was a fair price. We lowered our expectations to match the sold prices in our area and engaged Peter to sell our property. He had a number of prospects come through before it was even advertised. An offer was made and accepted within a week. To cut a long story, short, Peter made the sale at better than our original asking price 12 months earlier. He didn't quite make the extra $20,000, but he gave it a good nudge. In Peter's own words, "What housing downturn?" Over the last 18 months, we have come to consider Peter a close personal friend and highly recommend him and his staff (even if he still spells my wife's name incorrectly). Very polite, professional and go beyond the normal call of duty to ensure that the vendor and purchaser are both happy. Can't recommend him highly enough.
