I approached Peter as I had his contact details when he called my Father to talk about selling his property. When my Father passed away I had some friends who knew about Peter and so I contacted him and was impressed by his honesty and market knowledge. Throughout every meeting Peter always took the time to listen to me and my wishes. He was very caring to make sure that I fully understood everything that was discussed so that there was nothing that was just taken for granted. I understood everything at the end of every meeting and I also knew that if I doubted anything that I could call and get a full explanation. The level of communication was exceptionally high. The property was a difficult sale because it was a knock down so there were differences in comparing prices between my property and others - they were not the same and Peter communicated the price expectations based on the buyers finances so that I understood the offers on the reports. The professionalism showed right from the start - Peter indicated that as the property was a knock down I did not need to pay for certain advertising but he did steer me towards contractors who would clean up the property to make the property as presentable as possible so that builders could understand the possibilities of the land and I could also be proud of what I was putting up for sale. Peter forwarded to me reports on prospective buyer feedback and we discussed the comments so that our expectations were realistic. Once the property was on the market I was also getting phone calls at specific times on what prospective buyers were saying about the property. This "dual information channel", the reports and the verbal feedback gave a very good picture of where the auction would be headed. Obviously selling a house is a stressful time. All of the above make me feel at ease that the property was in the right hands. I was in control and I was being given professional advice and things were going the way I wanted.
