I met Peter by chance, and I’m really glad I did. After a disappointing morning looking at properties, I stopped for a coffee nearby. As I was leaving, I saw Peter getting ready for an inspection and asked him about the property he was showing. Even though he was busy, Peter took the time to show me around. That property wasn’t right for me, but what stood out was how he really listened, asked questions, and wanted to understand what I needed. Instead of just trying to sell me the property he had, Peter suggested another place he thought would suit me better. He was right. That recommendation ended up being my new home. What really stands out is that none of this would have happened if Peter hadn’t taken a few extra minutes to talk to someone just passing by.
