I have used Peter Ly's services at Raine and Horne Cabramatta for almost ten years. I have been kept up to date regarding interest, or lack of interest in the properties allowing me to realistically assess any offers made. His estimates of property values I have found to be in the ballpark of the offers received which lends credibility to any advice he gives. A good example of his expert knowledge is when I first tried to sell a property through him, a property jointly owned by myself and my brother, he told us we would be lucky to get the price we wanted which was one that my brother had estimated judging by a nearby sale he knew of some months earlier. Offers were falling about $100 to $140 thousand short despite interest in the property. I hopped on the web and although there was nothing in the same situation as our property, I could only judge properties that were vaguely similar but using that measure, I felt that the offers we were getting were realistic but my brother refused to budge. Peter and I sat down and he showed me the strata plan of the place my brother was using as a benchmark but my brother's casual assessment was very wide of the mark I showed my brother what Peter Ly had pointed out and he allowed the price to be more realistic and after weeks being wasted the property was finally sold. If my brother had listened to Peter's professional opinion from the start without digging up strata plans, it would have been sold a month or two earlier.
