Sellers requires 3 important things from an agent: 1) Market knowledge from pricing point of view/ Suburb speciality 2) Speedy/timely responses to queries 3) Closing the sale with highest possible offer Peter has excelled in all 3. He provided timely feedback straight after home opens and comments from potential buyers to improve saleability/presentation. Peter was always available for questions whether it was via phone/sms or email. He pointed out both pros and cons with our property and provided a true picture rather than a fake impression. We do not recommend this agent. If you do choose to buy through this agent make sure you do not use any of his affiliated businesses to perform your building inspections etc. Ensure that you do not take his word as assurance of anything in relation to the property unless it is in writing and signed. If you ask for items to be rectified on final inspection make sure you go back and check for completion yourself. Mr Parsons insisted it would be inconveniant for us to revisit the property, he emailed assuring all items are rectified. They were not and we were left with 2 x tip loads of rubbish to remove plus incomplete plumbing issues. Mr Parsons also assured us all structures on the property had required permits. Shortly after settlement we were given notice by council to remove the illegal masonry front fence putting us out of pocket 7k plus. Please be very careful.
Peter set a record for the complex and achieved a sale price much higher ($55k more) than I had been offered when listed through a previous agent. I put this down to his unmatched negotiation skills - anyone can list a property and present an offer - but he guides you through the emotional minefield that is buying and selling and works hard to get that offer up - beyond my expectations! Money well spent and our real estate agent of choice for life.
