I am a retired barrister. I was a lawyer for 40 years. I have the experience to be able to assess the character of people having dealt with so many people over that time. For 15 years I was a Tribunal Member hearing civil cases. I had dealings with many real estate agents, some who were good and some not so good. From memory Peter came to the Tribunal where I was presiding two or three times. Peter was one of the good ones. He impressed me as a very honest and decent man. I had 50 acres of vacant land at Koonorigan. I knew, from the time Peter came to the Tribunal, that if I came to sell that land I would list it with Peter. And so I did. It was probably fate because if I had not had dealings with Peter in the Tribunal I would not have known to go to him. From our first meeting until the settlement of the sale, Peter was very honest with me and very thorough. I only listed the property with Peter - no other agents involved. The property was very run down. I had owned it for 25 years. When I was younger I could cope better with the work involved in maintaining it but at the age I am now the work was beyond me. Peter achieved a price for the land in its current state which I thought was not possible. I am very grateful for the work he did for me - some of which was beyond what one would normally expect of a real estate agent. I am obviously very grateful for the selling price he obtained.
