I'll be honest - I had very little appreciation for what a good real estate agent does. I thought they put some pictures on the internet and handed out brochures. Maybe this sums up some agents, but in the case of Peter and his team I will admit I was ignorant and wrong! Peter came to our initial meeting with an outstanding presentation of the market conditions for our area. I was worried I was going to be sold an attractive sell price to encourage me to sign up (and some other agents did do this), but Peter had everything he said supported by evidence. He pointed out things we should invest our time and money into to attract the most interest possible, and was available for follow-up conversations to clarify and advise further. Our confidence was repaid in spades. Peter organised a stylist to help us with presentation ideas, and his Assistant Bianca also spent a lot of time with us and gave us important and wise advice. We made a solid plan, and we all stuck to it. The marketing went well, the house looked amazing, and communication and feedback about the opens flowed regularly. Peter also gave us advice and even helped us to negotiate for our new home, which was well and truly above and beyond his duties. He did everything in a timely manner, and ALWAYS followed up... a real strength of his. You never truly know how an auction will go, but the one thing I said to Peter at the start was "I want to know that we squeezed every last drop out of this place." I can honestly tell you that we did. We could not have done any more, and my family and I walk away from that place knowing that we achieved 100% from it.
