Selling a home is an emotional time, particularly when you have lived there for many years. Phil and Tam showed great understanding and sensitively throughout and worked with us from getting the house ready for sale right through to sale completion. They arranged a number of trades, supervised some activities when we could not be there, advised us on what to do and what not to do to optimise value for money. Some of the painting we did following discussions with them absolutely transformed one of our rooms which was great to see. They helped us style our property and reviewed the finished product, making some suggested changes to finish the overall presentation. Both Phil and Tam have a great sense of style and an eye for detail. They willingly lent us a rug to complete one room and Phil even went to the trouble of making a small rug from a piece of carpet to complete a display. I don’t know any other agent who would have done that! The marketing of the property was very strong with great photos and a prominent website position. We had terrific exposure and it resulted in a lot of groups coming through. In a challenging market where buyers are scarce this was a very important factor. Phil advised us throughout the campaign and it resulted in a successful sale. Selling a family home is not stress free but Phil and Tam did their best to make the process as comfortable as possible. He has a maxim of ‘doing all the little things right’ and I am sure this has helped us achieve a sale in a relatively short space of time.
