After the intial decision to sell our home came the daunting decision on who to choose for an agent. After 5 appraisals with all the big agents in Butler, something just didn't feel right. You could see right through them... Then I looked around the suburb and noticed nearly all of Phil Wiltshire sale boards had SOLD on them. Some next door to other Real Estate Agents. Which were still for sale. So I made an appointment with Remax and Phil for an appraisal. From that initial appraisal Phil and Josh took us through the entire process from start to finish. Nothing left out and they did put the effort in for sure. Out strengths and weaknesses. What to expect along the process and how to all work together as a team, to get the sale, at the best price. Phil and Joshs' experience shone through and after talking it over, signed up to sell our home. Phil & Josh were here to get the best photos and plan the marketing, nothing was left out. It was like preparing for a Premiere League season. After all the preparation and planning, came the week of the first home open. Well, that's what we thought. But a private viewing was arranged and before we got to the first home open, we got exactly what we wanted; SOLD. We excepted the offer and that was it. So we didn't get to experience weeks of home opens and reducing the price to fit the market. All the work and preparation paid off. Sure there have been a few bumps on the way but Phil and the team have smoothed the way. Second to none with their communication. If there is one thing you want when selling your greatest assett is honesty and communication. Sure look around and get other appraisals and see. But why even bother because the Phil Whitshire Remax team are top of the Premier League ; with no one even a close second. Well done team, great work. So pleased on our result for sure !.

We sold our house in Jindalee when the market was already well in decline. No one could sell at what they had paid for. We knew we would lose money in such a poor market and had accepted we would sell at a significant loss. However, we only lost a fraction of what we anticipated. One agent told us to list at well below what we wanted to get (even factoring in our loss) just to get people in the door (i.e. trick them) and then try to push them up to meet our price. Phil disagreed with this strategy. He read the market very well. He advised buyers had become arrogant and wanted to negotiate downwards to feel like they had got a bargain. Phil proposed we list above the loss we expected and barter downwards. This paid off tremendously and we were extremely happy with the price we got and that Phil had contained the loss we had been prepared for. Phil advised in very specific detail how to prepare the house for our night photo shoot and it looked fantastic. The write up of our house was well written, not a cut and paste from another listing and really sold sold sold our house. We sold our house in TEN DAYS - our suburb's average at that time was 200 days. Truly, this is not a fake review! It was a huge relief for us. Nothing was moving in our suburb because of the mining crash. We loved Phil, he was very straight forward with us and gave us good, sensible advice about the market which was how we sold so quickly. Will definitely use him again.
