Thoughtful, helpful, considerate and trustworthy.
Philip Dwyer was recommended to me by someone I didn't know well. Add that to my profound ignorance and even deeper disinterest in the detailed workings of real estate, meant that I was entering into this whole affair pretty blind and more than a bit suspicious.
The next months of waiting for something, like my house to sell, and it not, found me frequently feeling discouraged. However, there was another side. I was also getting to know Phil, and I was learning to let go of some of my suspicions and to trust. That was unexpected. Trust is not one of those qualities that comes easily to me, especially when having to negotiate around the major material asset I will probably ever be able to claim as mine. But Phil's straightforwardness, his consideration for people (the tenant who was living in the house at the time, to whom he showed genuine sensitivity, as he, of course, did to me) and his care and patience in eventually getting the house sold to a buyer from heaven, all added up, in my estimation, to Phil being a rather decent human being who, also, happens to be a very competent and effective real estate agent. What more can or do I need to say?
