We are based in Wellington New Zealand. Once we made the decision to sell our property we got 3 recommendations for estate agents as well as the name of an agent from our property management company. Raj immediately stood out – he took the time to explain our legal obligations and the process for selling the house in Australia in simple terms. He also gave us advice on issues relating to selling the house with tenants. Raj was on top of everything from start to finish. He visited the property while tenants were still there and once the tenants were given notice Raj organised the necessary repairs and work to ready the property for sale. Several quotes were obtained for each job and overall Raj saved us thousands of dollars (compared with the property management company who by that time had lost interest in helping us) by using his own network of services and checking the work as it progressed. Raj kept in regular communication by video chat and messaging and was completely up front and honest when asked for his advice. The property was sold within a week of listing and we were more than happy with the result. At no time did we feel that we needed to travel to Melbourne to check on anything. We cannot speak more highly of Raj - we had complete confidence and were able to leave everything in his capable hands. In our view, Raj went over and above what was expected of an agent and we would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
