Having entered the Stock and Station Industry as a 16 year old I spent approximately 20 years as a stock auctioneer prior to entering the Real Estate Industry in 1990. I was lucky to spend many years travelling around NSW in my role as an Auctioneer and playing Rugby League before making the decision to become a Real Estate Agent. Our family moved to Byron Bay in 1990 to begin a career in Real Estate. After 15 years in the popular coastal town as an LJ Hooker Franchise Owner, we made the decision to move to the Gold Coast and continue our affiliation with the industry. I now enjoy the opportunity I was given to be a part of a high profile and extremely
successful Real Estate office in DJ Stringer Property Services, Coolangatta. I can’t overemphasise the level of professionalism and quality of service that is available to everyone that has any type of requirement within the sphere of Real Estate. I feel extremely fortunate to have a supportive family with Janelle, wife of 38 years, children Nathan and Tara and very importantly, 4 gorgeous grandchildren who
provide us all with tremendous joy. In my spare time I love a game of competitive golf with mates at Coolangatta/Tweed and Murwillumbah. If I was to offer any budding young Real Estate Agent an ounce of advice based on my experience and knowledge of the Real Estate industry it would be as follows: “Cherish and Respect the trust bestowed upon you by your clients. Don’t ever take this for
granted and remember not to lose sight of the commitment you have to produce the best possible result for your Vendor.”
