Regina Atkinson
I bought my house off Regina 11 yrs ago & sold it last month using her services. Is she brilliant at selling? Yes. Is she a wonderful estate agent? Yes. You knew that already after seeing her accolades and awards. What you DON'T know is that she's highly responsive to communication, is a kind person who goes out of her way to help and make you feel comfortable, she's extremely knowledgeable AND she will give you REAL honesty (the thing I value most if I'm being honest). She knows her community so well and is actively involved in community projects which is so admirable and shows that she doesn't just sell Yarra Valley, she loves it too. After helping me to buy the house in 2013, she sent cards to mark milestones and even a giant gingerbread house on the 5 year anniversary (yes, I finished the whole thing but it took a few weeks). She went the extra mile to keep in touch which I appreciated immensely and I knew that I wouldn't use anyone but Regina if I wanted to sell the house! When that day eventually came I had in-depth conversations with her about renovations, decor, what needed to be done and what would be over-capitalising etc (it was also a difficult and traumatic situation that lead to the sale and she was patient and understanding with me. She put together an all-female support team for the sale and I could not have been more thankful for that, I love supporting other women and needed to feel safe during this period). She gave me wonderful advice and I used that to prepare the house for sale - and in just 12 days on the market, she had 3 offers to present. She was genuinely and whole heartedly excited for me, and I felt so supported through the whole process. I wanted this review to be comprehensive because buying and selling a house is not a simple or short process. It's stressful and exorbitantly expensive and confusing. It's exhausting and mind-numbingly tedious. What you want, and what you need, is a Regina. Sincerely, an anxious Millennial.
