Rhys Chester sold a property for me in South Perth in late 2014. I found Rhys to be well presented, polite and friendly and would either promptly returned my calls or would independently call me each week to give me an update on the situation, a trait I found to be uncommon with many other agents. The property proved to be a challenge to sell and instead of approaching me to drop my price as his only sales strategy, he would instead present at least one different strategy to advance the interest in the property. On several occasions the lack of market interest would eventually dictate that the price of the property would need to be reduced and I found his negotiation manner toward me to be matter-of-fact and pragmatic. We typically reached a mutually agreeable price, often combined with a new sales strategy. When he eventually entered negotiations with prospective buyers I was confident that he would (and did) get a true reflection of that property's true market value. During the settlement period several maintenance issues arose and Rhys was forthcoming and reliable with assisting with suitable trades people etc to resolve the issues. He also recommended a very efficient and reasonably priced settlement agent. I would not hesitate to employ Rhys' services the next time I have a property for sale.
