Richard Haywood started off all smiles—until he had the deposit. From that point on, he transformed into the most unpleasant agent I’ve encountered in nine property transactions. And that includes both luxury homes and investment properties. This particular purchase was neither, but his treatment of us was utterly appalling. For reasons known only to himself, Richard made a point of removing my partner from every single email thread—after I had repeatedly added her back in. A simple act of professionalism? Not for Richard. His preferred approach was one of rudeness, grumpiness, and a general air of being permanently irritated that he even had to deal with us. He also made promises he failed to keep, the simplest being that the property would be cleaned before we moved in. I would not recommend Richard, I can see that some people have had a positive experience with him, but this seems somewhat of a mystery to us, as our experience was just awful.

As a buyer I had a very poor experience.
