Richard's business style is relaxed, yet professional with a comprehensive sector understanding. He covered all bases during the lead up, and during the sales process - and was always available to respond to questions, and promptly returned phone or electronic messages. His valuation projection was reasonable and accurate, and I sincerely believe he applied his best efforts toward maximising both the sale price, as well as keeping family representatives informed at all times. He has a friendly, down to earth personal approach to his client dealings. I would certainly contact him again for either sale or purchase translations, and highly recommend his services.

When we contacted WATT Realty to engage them to see our house Richard arrived at our first meeting with everything required for us to make a decision on the sale of our property right there and then. A week later He then had our place under contract within 15 minutes of the first open home finishing.

I met Richard at an open house inspection on Saturday 07.09.19. I felt we had established a good rapport and I assumed he would be a proactive and hands-on agent. He happily agreed to send me information on costs relating to the property by the following Monday. I was however very surprised when I discovered that Richard had departed for an overseas holiday following the inspection and had not delegated the promised tasks or referred me to another Watt Realty agent. In a nutshell I was left hanging in limbo and found it difficult to get a timely response to my telephone enquiries. Buying this property has been the most significant financial investment I have ever made and I was hoping the process would be smooth with a minimum of fuss. Instead I found this part of the property purchase very frustrating and stressful. Thankfully I was contacted by another agent three days after the inspection who competently co-ordinated my successful purchase of the property. Following settlement I took the time to provide constructive and objective feedback about my experiences directly to Richard and to Justin Watt - the principal of Watt Realty - via email on 16.10.19. With this contact I requested a response and as of today’s date (21.11.19) I have not received any reply to that letter. The only communication I have received from Richard since the open house inspection was an automated email request to provide feedback on the “Rate My Agent” website. I have also responded to an automated request from Justin Watt for general feedback in relation to my experiences with Watt Realty to which I am yet to receive a reply. This lack of response from both parties has been disappointing to say the least. Richard presents as very personable and I wish I could give him the benefit of the doubt in these matters. However my experience of Richard’s non action, disrespectful lack of communication and poor professionalism means that sadly I cannot recommend him as an agent

Richard was transparent in all of his dealings with us during the sale of our home. He never pushed an agenda, was happy to provided advice on topics of concern and allow us to make all the decision. Richard made the buying process as smooth as he possibly could, took me through the property on multiple occasions, answered all of my (many) questions, was flexible for all appointment times and was great to negotiate with.
