Ricky Smith is Toowoomba born and bred. Ricky has witnessed the evolution of Toowoomba from a busy regional city with a strong rural community focus to a thriving metro city full of culture, diversity, and development.
Ricky's previous experience spans both the business of real estate on a personal and development level, and running other Multi-Award Winning businesses in the Toowoomba Region. These include Ricks Auto Centre with his father Alf, Mid City Autos with brothers Craig and Treq, followed by Concept Tiles with wife Debbie.
The tile industry exposed Ricky to architects, designers, builders, renovators, and investors. Proudly, Ricky and Debbie supplied tiles into 80% of Toowoomba's display homes in this era. These years also fostered a systematic and integral understanding of client's wants, needs, and end choices when it comes to investing in real estate.
Seemingly drawing closer and closer to be involved in the real estate industry Ricky and his wife started selling the house’s best friend - the shed. They established Aussie Outdoor Sheds and Patios Display Centre at Withcott, which is still operated by Debbie.
These businesses are a testimony to Ricky's dedication and ability to deliver outcomes to the client. Years of networking has seen Ricky form strong working relationships and build a massive database of potential buyers and sellers. Ricky has a strong sense of community and has been involved in various clubs from sport to music. He has been directly involved in fundraising for St Vincent's Hospital, Toowoomba Base Hospital Children's Ward and Variety Children's Club. Ricky has resided in the Lockyer Valley for the past 23 years. He has raised his family here and understands living in the area.
