When screening potential agents to take on the sale of my property, as expected all potential candidates brought an element of "salesmanship" to their pitches which wasn't unexpected. Rob, however, brought detail on the work he had already been conducting in the background, along with a large amount of value add that would (& did) result in real measurable savings in the cost of my campaign. Within hours of engaging Rob (& Deb), my property had a minor makeover (both inside and out) and it wasn't shortly after this that the professional imagery (arranged by Rob & Deb) was being compiled into a slick online campaign. Without going into detail, we agreed on a staggered commission structure that certainly favoured the vendor. From the moment of agreement, to the moment of exchanging contracts, Rob pursued the sale of my property with the mechanical precision of a highly paid undercover assassin. Even though the agreed commission structure exposed Rob to a disastrously low commission, Rob did not distract from his agreed agenda, which was to facilitate the best possible exchange between vendor and purchaser. The energy, passion, professionalism and commitment that was present at the very first opening, was equally present at the final presentation. Not once was I massaged into changing my expectation of the sale, not once did Rob or Deb engage the details of the contract to remove themselves from what we verbally agreed on (even though, financially it could have been in their favour), and not once did Rob and Deb do anything other than what they told me they would do. Their reliability, honesty, and ability to communicate should be used as a benchmark for all others in the industry. I can honestly say that next time it comes to sell, I'd be a fool to consider anyone else to facilitate the sale. And, when we are ready to purchase our next home, my partner and I will be looking to engage Rob & deb to act on our behalf.
