Robert is very experienced and promptly responded to my requests throughout the sales campaign. I did place a pre-auction offer. When it was not accepted, I was a bit lay-back on preparing myself for the auction. Robert's phone calls in the week before the auction definitely push me to prepare for this property. I am happy with the end result.
The property at 228 Penshurst Street, Beverly Hills was dated but well located to all facilities. I was of the opinion that it would not sell for a substantial figure above one million. But Robert gave me confidence that it would and he presented in a certain way that attracted a large number of potential buyers. He also took the time to explain in some detail the intricacies of selling a property and the reasons to assist the potential buyers by complying with their requests for certain conditions a 5% Deposit etc, prior to auction. Robert chose the services of Andrew Cooley to be the auctioneer on the day and that was certainly the right choice. Andrew at the outset set the starting bid a one million and from then on the rest is history and the property sold for $320,000 above its reserve. To say I was delighted with the result is an understatement, I reckon that Robert Seib and his team did an absolutely first class and fantastic job on my behalf.
