In a critical time when house prices were dropping due to interest rate hikes, Rod was a legend in successfully selling my house. As I was also looking for a house to buy and thus conversed with many agents, Rod truly stood out as one with integrity, knowledge & experience, topped with an awesome attitude. From the very beginning he demonstrated great character - not over inflating my home's supposed value, but did thorough research to show me realistic expectations, and discussed his strategy. He also didn't just steam-roll me with his agenda, but expressed an appreciated balance between listening to my opinions and making solid recommendations. I witnessed this as to how & when we strategically adjusted our marketing angles; how we adapted based on visitors' feedback; etc. Furthermore, I was impressed how Rod pursued every lead to exhaustion. Likewise, when people came to visit but showed dis-interest, Rod engaged each with conversation to try and overcome their obstacles. Then he had follow-up meetings with me to discuss his responses, and anything we could do to the home to alleviate such obstacles being raised again. I'll also menrion Rod has a great balance of personality as an agent - determined but wasn't pushy; calm & cheerful but not lethargic, he made me feel comfortable and confident. When I'd begin to panic on situations of surrounding houses for sale - or get concerned with visitor feedback, Rod would make time to chat, getting me on track with obviously deep experience, that allowed me to realise I can simply trust in his advice. And sure enough, he found me a buyer at the perfect time with ideal conditions. If you're looking for an agent, save yourself the exhaustive research I already did and look no further than Rod.
