About Rod

Developing a career in real estate has been a natural progression for Rod Yan whose experience in the building and construction industry first began in China. Proficient in both Chinese and English, Rod draws on his experience in dealing with people from a diverse range of cultures to build and maintain supportive client relationships. "Spending the time understanding people and their individual needs is central to the way I work in real estate," says Rod. "Clear communication and honesty help develop trust. I genuinely enjoy meeting and getting to know people - both colleagues and clients - and love the friendly, fast-paced environment of Jellis Craig Doncaster." When it comes to the business end of a sales campaign, Rod's negotiation skills have helped him deliver excellent results for his clients. Hard working, knowledgeable and focused, Rod has a sound appreciation of the lifestyle benefits of the Boroondara and Manningham areas. Outside of work, Rod relaxes by spending time with family, picking up his guitar or going fishing.
