We were very poorly advised when selling our home. We were told not to bother doing the place up as a prospective purchaser would take this into account when making an offer. As a result many offers were way below expectation. We were advised to put the place up for auction where the bidding was likewise hopeless. We paid quite a bit for the place to proceed to auction with no result. It seemed to us that Devine Real Estate just wanted to get the place sold at no matter how much so that they could deduct their commission from the proceeds.
