One thing we really liked about him was how nicely he worked with us and prospective buyers, making everyone comfortable. Roger was very helpful, polite and patient, and I thoroughly recommend him. He has a good knowledge of the market obviously built on many years of experience, and we found him to be highly professional. In general, I am not happy with the way real estate negotiations are now being conducted in multi-offer situations; for example, we made an offer and then were told another offer had been made, but information on whether the second offer was higher or lower could not be provided. We had an opportunity to make a second offer (because we had made the first offer, and no signed a multi-offer form at that stage), not knowing whether our first offer was already the highest. This was no reflection of Roger, it just seems that the industry is moving this way. I think it is wrong for a purchaser in this instance to not be told whether the other offer/s was higher or lower than their initial offer.
