Ros Green was invited to list Tara Lodge because of a previous experience with Hayden where we needed an insurance evaluation after extensive electrical, plumbing, roofing, flooring and garden renovations had been undertaken. The thing that I appreciated most at that time was that Ros could see the potential of the property whilst also understanding the challenges associated with it. Ros and Hugh came around and discussed the potential property value explaining that that it was in Old Ocean Grove, 'on the flat' and was unique in its own right - an 80 year old weatherboard farmhouse relocated in pieces from Craigieburn in the mid 1970s. We had specifically asked for an unusually long settlement which would see us stay at Tara Lodge until our next home was ready for occupation in May 2020. True to form, Ros brought the entire Hayden Team around. At that viewing by the Hayden agents, Consultant Penny Dawson said to me 'I think that I have someone in mind....." In less than 24 hours, Penny's initial potential buyers had viewed the property and were the ones who eventually purchased it. A second purchaser was also available to step in if the original prospective buyer withdrew their interest prior to the end of the cooling off period. In short, we could not be happier.
