We met Ross whilst looking for our first home purchase. My first impression of Ross was he was nice. Too nice. Immediately the “typical real estate” guy impression rang alarm bells and although I tried to stay neutral on the matter, his polite and friendly nature overpowered the defence I was trying to uphold. After viewing the property, I sought advice and given we lived in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, having another viewing with someone more seasoned than first home buyers was a logistical nightmare. We called Ross that afternoon and threw the question to whether we could have another look on Sunday (the viewing was Saturday). To my surprise, Ross offered to come out of his way and allow us to inspect the property. My uncle came with us and on the way up I spoke of how nice and genuine Ross is. My uncle's response was "don't get suck in mate, that's him playing the real estate game". On arrival, Ross took us through the house and gave us free reign. There was no feeling of rush even though Ross had given up part of his Sunday for us. After the second inspection, my uncle pulled me aside and said "you know how you said Ross was really nice and friendly? Well, you were right. This guy is genuine. I like him.". That was comforting to hear coming from someone who has made a living off property investments - not that we had any doubt of course! Fast forward a few hours and we made an offer the house. Fast forward again and it was accepted. Our settlement was fast tracked. During this time Ross went above & beyond what I would expect of a real estate agent. From helping to organise inspections, conveyancing, repairs after hours visits & even driving me around to get council reports! He was in constant contact with us and the vendor keeping both parties in the loop and happy. Words cannot express our gratitude. My partner & I 100% believe if it weren't for Ross, we wouldn't be living in a dream first home! If you are selling, I can't rate Ross highly enough!
