I had an investment property in Waikiki and decided to downsize my holdings and sell that property. A number of agents valued the property fairly consistently and said they could market it for me at that valuation. Sall looked at my situation; long term tenant, rent below market rate etc and advised me not to sell at that time but to wait until the lease was due for renewal. Sally could have lost the sale at that stage but I took her advice and held off for six months. When sale time came I listed the property through Sally's colleague, as Sally had taken long service leave, and received approximately $90,000.00 more for the property than if I had sold it when I had originally intended. Sally put my interests as a seller over hers as an agent and I came out much better off through this good advice. I would recommend Sally as an agent to anyone due to her concern for her clients over any concern for a quick sale and commission then moving on to another sale.
