Let's face it, the real estate industry doesn't have a great reputation. Of course I don't expect anyone to believe me when I tell you Sally is not one of that herd. If I told you Sally's primary concern was absolutely not money, signing a contract or selling my property any costs, you would probably suspect she was in the wrong industry. And if I told you that at some point she had advised me against selling, you'd probably be hospitalised with laughter. What Sally was interested in was getting my property from what I saw as outstanding, to what she saw as outstanding. These, it turned out, were two very different things. It took me several weeks and quite a bit of hard work. And once I had finished following her extensive advice, and gave her a property she saw as outstanding, I do believe she genuinely enjoyed selling it for me. Whether you're still laughing or are wondering if this can be right, let me end by saying I have no doubt whatsoever that Sally has easily saved me a significant six figure sum by maximising my sale price. And I've learned a lot about presentation and had a good laugh along the way. It's worth noting that Sally isn't just focussed on the here and now. She went to the trouble of having a daughter, Amelia, and is in the process of training her up. What better trainer could you wish for? Although I did hate it whenever my mother suggested she knew better than me, even if she was right. Sally is very personable, trustworthy (its's 000 if you're struggling to breathe) and a pleasure to work with. But at the end of the day what will matter for you is her professionalism and her ability to get results, so long as you take her advice. I took all of it, even though it nearly killed me :-)

Every interaction with Sally and Amelia was faultless, pleasant, informed, empathic and I was extremely grateful and impressed with their support. I was managing the sale from interstate so needed to be able to totally trust that my real estate agent would do everything they undertook to do. I had nothing at all to worry about. Even before I signed a contract, Sally provided useful suggestions about how to maximise the appeal of my property to the market. Sally met me out of hours to suit my travel commitments, arranged things on my behalf, after I’d approved it of course, checked the property and liaised with contractors to ensure they had done what I was paying them for. Communication was clear, regular and I appreciated the level of detail Sally shared during the marketing phase. At no stage did Sally take her foot off the pedal, even when there was plenty of interest in the property and it was highly likely to sell. The open homes still continued as originally proposed, the phone calls, texts and email updates continued to flow through as promised. Ultimately on auction day, we had close to 20 registered bidders and the property was sold for well over the reserve price. Having Sally Dodd and her daughter Amelia as our agent was one of the best things we have done. Both women worked tirelessly to bring in buyers and to showcase the property. Photos were posted regularly on social media as well as on traditional platforms. Photos were taken both at night and in the day, giving that extra detail. Sally and Amelia regularly communicated to us the progress of the sale and always in good humour. We both miss our hilarious conversations we had with Sally and can’t recommend her more highly as an agent.
