We first met Sally when we were looking to buy in the Hornsby area in late 2014. Although we didn't end up buying from her, we were impressed by her friendly, straightforward and knowledgeable approach - one that has clearly proven to be successful for her, judging by the number of 'for sale' and 'sold' signs you see her face and name on throughout the local area. So when it came time to move interstate in late 2019, we immediately thought of Sally as someone we could trust to sell our house. Sally visited us to offer an initial appraisal of our house, and was very generous with her time given that we were not fully committed to selling at that stage. She outlined a tailored approach to selling our house but was also happy to listen to our ideas and address any concerns (it was the first time we had sold a house and we were a bit nervous about it). Once we asked Sally to be our agent, we found her to be very hands-on and engaged throughout the process. She put us in touch with a stylist, Jody, who made our place look great, provided the details of a gardener who tidied up our yard at short notice and supervised all the photography. Sally personally managed every open house and provided very prompt feedback each week. As we received offers, Sally's extensive experience of the local real estate market was invaluable in helping us to decide whether to accept or not, and also allowed her to achieve a sale price that exceeded our expectations. We learned to trust her knowledge and advice (which was invariably correct) and are pleased we did. Aside from her experience as an agent, Sally did all she could to make what can be a stressful experience as painless as possible. Her warmth and interest in us as a family (our three year old daughter was a big fan - she was always asking when she could see Sally again), and the occasional pep talks if things weren't moving ahead as easily as we hoped were much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend Sally to prospective vendors.
