We had a number of meetings with Sam during COVID lockdown, about what we should do/what to expect re when to put our house up for sale. Sam, while always enthusiastic, was realistic about market expectations in an uncertain world. Sam's knowledge of our suburb re pricing/sales was 1st class, and he pretty much knew every street in our suburb that had had a recent sale. He always kept us informed, and his constant market updates were appreciated. Sam never pressured us re our pricing, and even after we cancelled our auction (due to minimal interest) we stayed firm with our pricing, and in the end Sam found us a buyer and we got exactly the price we were hoping to a few months prior. It is refreshing to interact with people in the real-estate market that are come across as frank, direct individuals. This was my experience with Sam. From the start, there was no beating around the bush, rules and expectations were set and the turn around was incredibly fast.

I was referred by a friend to Sam, who came and inspected the property and provided a direct market comparison and estimate price. This was above the ranges I was previously told by other agents. That price was listed when advertising. No ESR, just a single figure, which in my opinion showed he had confidence and knew the market and a buyer could be found. It also showed transparency with me with his estimate, meaning I was not subject to claims it could be sold for more and later disappointed. The property was sold some 2.5 weeks later as listed. Say what you want about the property market conditions, but that is delivering as promised. His candour was refreshing and I did not need to contact him for updates as I was already aware.
