We, like many people had to face the harsh reality that we were not going to get anywhere near the money for our home that we expected ...or would have got a few years ago. This was a hard pillow to swallow, but, over the year it took to sell our home, we had to come to terms with the reality of the current real estate market. At no time did we feel that Sam, Kirsten and their team were to blame ...they patiently nursed us through, doing their best at all times. Prospective buyers came and went but we did not receive an offer to buy until a few weeks ago. The old saying ..."you can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink" comes to mind. This was our dream home and in the end a lovely family came along that loved it as much as we did. Having worked in real estate myself (many years ago), I am well aware that it is all to easy to blame the agent when things don't go the way you want/expect and with the internet working for you these days ...it really just a game of patience and understanding that your agent can only do so much. Thank you Sam and Kirsten ...well done! and ...thank you for sticking with us ...we know we were hard work!
