First, the easy bits; Sam was fantastic. He was professional at all times, communicated perfectly, gave us good advice, promised us a good result and gave us what he promised. He was the consummate professional, well presented, straight up and down, honest and just a real good stamp of person. We had four different agents, including Sam come over to have a look at the house before deciding to go ahead with Sam. Two of them came with their marketing plans and a contract to hire them on the first meeting. One emailed their plan and their contract after the first meeting. Sam visited us again after the first meeting with his plan and explained well. As a “first home seller”, we needed an agent who was easy to talk to, yet confident. Sam was very friendly and easy to talk to, but he had confidence in his plans and advices. When all the other agents recommended auction, Sam recommended “Sale by Tender” with confidence. And it worked out more than we dreamed for, as there was a significant difference between the top offer and the second highest. When negotiating for the contract, Sam did a great job again. We were fully expecting repetitive phone calls of counter offers after we took the top offer. But there were only a few calls from Sam until the contract became “unconditional”. He did all the negotiations without bothering us, because he knew what we wanted. The process was so easy and smooth. He literally sold our house like “he was selling his mum’s house”, as he promised.
