Sandra and Gordon Sweetnam worked together nearly 30 years ago at Derrin Bros in Balgowlah. While Gordon left to start Sweetnams Real Estate, Sandra stayed on to then take over and acquire Derrin Bros, changing its name to North Harbour Real Estate. For many years Sandra, and her husband Peter, successfully operated from their prime position on the corner of Condamine Street and Sydney Road.
