Sanja is personable & initially seemed good. I also note the vendor did allow access to the property to put in new carpet(at no inconvenience to them, they had already moved)which we were thankful. That was where the +ives ended. The first issue was part way through the process she told us she was related to the vendor. Given the vested interest, I would have thought that this info would be disclosed at least when she knew we were serious purchasers. Leading up to settlement we had an inspection & several contractually agreed clauses were not met by the vendors. Sanja seemed unwilling to help to get those met; on the contrary, she encouraged us to waive these. She did this with knowledge that we were settling on a sale the same day to fund this purchase & had to move between the properties, so she knew we were between a rock & a hard place and could not delay settlement. Finally, a couple of small but telling things after settlement: 1) she did not drop us the keys, she made us come to her office (at least 45 min round trip, more in traffic) to get keys (again knowing our circumstances that we were moving that day); & 2) she did not have any contact with us after settlement. The agent selling our property kept in touch after settlement as well as before, congratulating us (which I think is the absolute minimum level of decency) & gave us a small gift after the sale. Polar opposites to deal with. From what I have heard, Sanja believed she went above & beyond for us. From our experience with her, if what I have heard is the truth, then Sanja is either not truthful herself or is deluded in that she believes such the low level of service she provides is an acceptable level of service. Either way, the whole process was made significantly more stressful because of her. If you do have to deal with her in future, I would suggest you only tell her information that cannot be used to better her situation as in our experience this is squarely where her interests lie.
