We spoke to a few agents (including the lady who sold us the house) but none had the enthusiasm and drive that Sarah had. From the very beginning Sarah did a great job of showing her knowledge of the market and the nuances involved in selling a small acreage property etc. Sarah was very open, honest, empathic and very quickly built trust with us. Sarah was very driven and we always felt her commitment. She set and managed our expectations very well around pricing, inspections, negotiation and the whole process. In the beginning we verbally agreed to 2% commission on the sale then when the contract came it had 3% on it. Agency set the sale price and then when the property was not selling the excuses came like the tenant is not cooperating with open house days. The price is not right it needs to come down ETC. I feel that the agency was not up front with the marketing of the property.
