Thank you to Sarah, Syarif & team. The support in preparation of the property was encouraging as you deal with personal emotions, agreement within family challenges and true values of what a property could be worth at market value. The time and expertise of the team in creating photo's, video's and written article's for the property came across very personal and encouraging, trying to emphasize the potential of the house and land and what it had to offer the potential purchaser. Unfortunately as an executor of the family estate, challenges of trying to honor and have agreement from all family members certainly creates more tension during already a difficult journey. Sarah certainly looked for opportunities to allow the process to be as less traumatic as needed for some of the family members, but as we did not go to Auction as generally deceased estates are encouraged to be, I have since had remarks back at me that we could have got more if we had of gone to auction. I believe Sarah put her best effort forward to support us as her vendor and as she mentioned, unfortunately an offer came in at the beginning of the campaign, which was unconditional adding further value to the package, which did not allow the other family members to see what others might have been prepared to offer after a longer period of time. We certainly took on board suggestions made in what level of preparing the property for sale should be, in site clearing, painting and presenting the home for sale, but personally spending some money and taking the time allowed us a family to know we put the best effort forward to present the property for someone to fall in love with rather than have the opinion of there is so much to do here. Hence the pressure that is being put on now in preparing a final investment property to be sold as part of the estate.
