We went to auction with our property with a 4 week preceding sales campaign. We had a firm idea of what we needed to get for our property and if we didn't reach that we would not have sold. The marketing campaign was well executed and resulted in a number of solid leads. We thought we had 4 to 5 potential purchasers. But by auction day two had dropped out of the running and one wanted to make a "subject to" conditional offer (which we rejected). So that left us 2 bidders and we knew the upper limit of one of these bidders beforehand - and it wasn't going to be enough. So it was lucky that we had Sarah and auctioneer supremo Mark on our team. They way these two worked with the crowd and negotiated with the bidders was nothing short of incredible. They remained cool, they read the people in front of them, they relayed information back to us efficiently and in the end go us exactly what we wanted. Had we decided to use another agent I have serious doubts about whether we would have sold. So all credit to Sarah and her team. I cannot recommend them enough.
