I am writing this as the buyer, ie, I didn't pay Scarlett's commission. It was great to deal with an agent who understands the area deeply, and was always available. Scarlett also did what she said she would do which was incredibly helpful during the buying process. Naturally, she works for the seller and Scarlett's strength is that she has a sense when a deal can be done and worked with us to secure the property prior to auction - and that benefitted everyone. Other agents I've met in the buying process didn't have that sense which was frustrating - always use a local agent with local knowledge.
