Apparently the three most stressful events in life are divorce, death in the family and moving home so I approached the sale of our apartment and purchase of a house in Noosa with great fear and trepidation. Both have now happened thanks to Scott Cowley of Noosa Estate Agents in less than two months and amazingly, my wife is still talking to me and I am obviously still alive! Both the sale and purchase were done off-market with minimal fuss, no open houses and best of all, no marketing or promotional costs. The trick to selling, of course, is to match the right buyer with the right house and Scott was exemplary. We sold to the first couple to inspect our apartment at a record price for Edward Street in Noosaville and we were the first couple to inspect our new home in Noosa Waters. Today we took possession of our new home and all achieved in less than 8 weeks. My only worry is that my wife may think it was such a stress-free activity she may want to do it again.
