When we were interviewing agents, we mentioned that a previous agent had left us in the dark about what was really going on other than basic numbers about inspections and contracts. We knew of Scott through word of mouth and had developed a rapport with him over the years. We felt no need to interview different agents when entering into an agreement with him. While our property presented a turn key solution and great lifestyle, there were certain elements that were not easy to sell such as smaller land size and location. Scott lifted his game and achieved a brilliant sale that came smack on our briefed price guide to him, and we did have high expectations possibly verging on unreasonable!!!!. Putting aside the value of the home, Scott achieved the third highest return on $$$ per sqm of land in the suburb, despite the location being regarded as not so good as other parts of the suburb.

After the recent sale of our Killara property we would highly recommend Scott Farquhar to anyone considering selling their home. It was not an easy task to buy a property that you love in the current property market, even if you have the money. We have missed out narrowly on many properties prior to our purchase with Scott. It was indeed very frustrating. Upon hearing my frustration at an open house inspection in Turramurra, Scott said that he will "rescue me". I laughed as his comment reminded me of Lord Farquaad from Shrek.
