Old-school service, honest advice and excellent communication

In a world where so many agents seem more interested in winning your listing than helping you buy, Scott was a breath of fresh air. Every time we met him at an open home, his focus was on the house we were there to see - not on trying to convince us to sell our own. As buyers, that was incredibly refreshing. Other agents barely took the time to tell us about the property before launching into how they could sell our house. Scott never did that. Instead, he knew the property inside and out and took the time to answer our questions. It actually made me think, that's exactly the kind of person I'd want selling my own home. As a Newcastle local, Scott has a genuine knowledge of the area and it shows. He's old school in all the right ways - reliable, approachable and honest. He doesn't pressure you, chase you or make you feel like you're being "sold to". He's confident in what he does, and because of that, he lets the property speak for itself. Communication was excellent throughout. If Scott says he'll get back to you, he does. He always replied to our emails and messages promptly, so we were never left wondering where things stood. Above all, Scott is simply a kind person. Buying a home can be stressful, but having someone genuine, professional and easy to deal with made the experience so much easier.
