Shane and his team are very professional and very customer focussed. I was kept informed and up-to-date throughout the whole process. This was very important to me as I live interstate and I needed an agent that I could trust. Shane and his team made the whole process seamless and very easy to manage.

Our first interaction with Shane was at a home open and after providing my number to check-in he said my number was already on their system but under my dads name. This was odd, because my dad passed away in 2017 and my parents haven't bought / sold a home since 2007 (and my number didn't exist back then). Either way, I have no idea why it would be listed with my number but it was so bizarre because minutes before pulling up to the home open I was telling my husband that I'd been missing my dad and had a little cry. So maybe this was fate? Who knows, but long story short, we didn't end up buying that home where we met Shane. However, a couple weeks later we went to another home open Shane was showing and we instantly knew it was the one. My husband and I have been looking to buy on and off over the last 3 years, so we've met a lot of agents. Shane and Ella are the first ones we met that weren't pushy. When they asked us how we felt about the house and we would say it wasn't for us, they accepted it and moved on. Whereas others had continued to call, text and even try and pressure us to find reasons to buy their property. Even my interactions with Ella, you can tell she's modelling her work ethic off Shane just by the she speaks of him and I think that's telling of how the whole culture Haiven has and how their team operates. They made the whole process easy, answered all our questions, responsive, professional and transparent. As first home buyers, this provided some comfort that we weren't being taken advantage of like some of the horror stories you read on Reddit or Facebook. I also appreciated that on key handover day, the gift they gave us was useful for our home instead of champagne (since we don't drink champagne!). Since settling and moving into our home, I've now met other locals at the dog park who have either bought from Shane or currently selling with Shane and I think that's telling of how well known and successful he is in the Gosnells area.
