I interviewed three agents on the Peninsula before I took on Shane to sell my mother's house when she suddenly passed away in May 2022. I live in Alice Springs but had a fair idea of how the market in Victoria was sitting. My daughter and I spoke with Shane and liked his style, we are involved in Rental Property Development in the NT so have a better than average understanding of Real Estate, although we normally buy not sell, We and Shane were both on the same initial mark for a sales price but unfortunately it was just as interest rates started to climb and we took a hit on the sales prices, Shane rang us, with a recommendation to drop the sales price, of which we had already decided to do and to exactly as he had recommended. Although the final sales price was below our initial expectation we were still happy with the outcome, in light of the current market. We also had a couple of security issues with the vacant house during the sales process but this was quickly sorted with plenty of correspondence from Shane and his Team, by which time I was back in Alice Springs. They quickly got the local Police on the job and organised for a security company to assist as required. Not being a fan of Estate Agents and having, not only extensive experience of dealing with them but also working for them over the last 30 years in the NT, we were very impressed and have no issue with recommending Shane to anyone who is considering selling their property.
