As a first time buyer, I was working with a broker to help me with finance. I advised Shane of where my finances were at and the reason they were delayed (completely out of mine or my brokers control). He advised me that his broker could get an answer within 2 days however given my situation, there was no way his broker could help any more than my own. I advised him I am going with the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme and he advised me that as it was an established property, I am not eligible (incorrect). He came across very rude, short and blunt from initial interactions. After his response to my first offer, I nearly walked right away from the property as he had been so short. It was lucky for him and the vendor that i loved the property and still proceeded to purchasing. He was professional in the closing period however I would not recommend selling with him to anyone as he would have scared me right off at first blush. A lot of things seemed like too much effort to him. He made a comment along the lines of that the vendors were wasting his time as he had received offers near mine previously and could have sold it 3x over. I just found it unprofessional and wouldn't personally consider him if I were to sell.
